It is highly unlikely that you can find somebody who is a better manager than Andrea. Her mind is a steel trap of information – she knows all and forgets nothing. She is super organized, very efficient, and great with clients. She manages office operations like the talented pro that she is. Rest assured, you will enjoy interacting with Andrea when you work with Leaf & Limb – everybody always does. As a native Minnesotan, she is a self-described hockey addict. She also loves pizza, 80’s rock, and Stephen King.
Andrew is one of the old guard at Leaf & Limb. Before joining, he earned a Bachelors Degree in Forestry and worked for a major tree care company in Baltimore, MD. Outside of work he is a skier, a life-long Giants fan, connoisseur of all things pierogi, and pipe band extraordinaire.
Basil’s official title? Wizard of Things. He is in charge of all things business development related. He went to Duke, where he graduated magna cum laude with a double major in economics and history. After working as an economic analyst, Basil decided to pursue his entrepreneurial dreams. If he is not working, Basil's favorite pastime is hanging with his amazing wife and son. His favorite hobbies include training in Brazilian Jiu Jitsu, soccer, power lifting, long distance running, hiking, traveling, and reading a good biography. Favorite foods? Blazing hot peppers, pickles, capers, and anything from Lucette Grace (best pastries ever!)
Bryan describes his own history as follows: “I was born in Siberia and shipped to America to infiltrate and undermine western democracy. Unfortunately for the motherland, I have decided that I prefer the freedoms and amenities of this country and their plans failed spectacularly. I really can eat just about anything, but everything tastes better with a fifth of Jack Daniels. I have had quite a few unusual experiences in my lifetime including playing QB for the Oakland Raiders, being the stunt double for Brad Pitt in Oceans Eleven, discovering the element Iodine, and setting the worlds most hotdog eating contest.” Believe none of this, LOL! But believe one thing: Bryan is a very interesting character (he was nearly elected for congress in NC, this is true) who fits right in with our unique and talented cast of characters at Leaf & Limb.
Cedric is gifted with athleticism and smarts to match – pretty much the perfect recipe for becoming a great climber. But becoming a great climber also requires hard work and dedication, something Cedric proved he possesses. After working for years as a crew leader, he now oversees our training program, working hard to share his knowledge with other aspiring climbers. Cedric is a self-taught musician who creates his own tracks. He is also a self-taught basketball extraordinaire, demonstrating on courts all across Raleigh that white boys CAN jump.
Chad was born in Paradise (Key West to be exact). He grew up in Illinois and Indiana, where he learned to swim. He was nationally ranked by the age of 8, state champion in high school, and then recruited to UNC for swimming. At UNC he was an All-ACC swimmer, nationally ranked, and was an Olympic Trial Qualifier in 2004 and 2008. This man can swim with the best of them! Today he enjoys scuba diving, surfing, boating, and fishing. If he is not doing something near the water, you can find him listing to local bands, eating the best that new chefs in Raleigh have to offer, or hanging out with his girlfriend and pit bull.
Chris was born in Ohio to a family of hard core OSU Buckeye football fans. He earned an engineering degree from NC State’s College of Engineering, as well as a minor in German. He is still conversational. Then he took to the high seas where he spent 6 years on the open ocean as a Merchant Marine and earned his Captain's license. He loves his pet squirrel, drawing (he is an accomplished artist), reading the classics, camping, and grilling out with friends and family. He was drawn to Leaf & Limb because he enjoys working outdoors. For Chris a positive attitude and outlook on life are very important.
Affectionately known as “Young Grease”, Chris is a crowd favorite. With his quick wit and positive attitude, it’s impossible not to enjoy his company. He is left handed, proud of his Italian heritage, loves football, and is a talented public speaker. After proving his mettle on a crew, Chris now works with our sales team as a customer service specialist and sales support. He embodies all of Leaf & Limb’s values, especially the bit about “show that you care.”

Cody is known here as Koala-T. He hails from the southern regions of the Golden State. At a young age he tied his thick locks behind his head and moved slowly – though determinedly – to the Tar Heel State. He is now a dogged climber and crew leader. When he is not munching on Eucalyptus leaves, he is probably playing basketball, watching football, or hanging out with friends. And yes, he sometimes shows Ced a thing or two about basketball.

He also plays the guitar and saxophone. One of his favorite quotes is, “All music is folk music, because it’s played by folks” by Jerome Garcia.
Daniel was born and raised in Cincinnati before moving to Raleigh to be with family. He is a wildlife nerd of the highest order. He has more interesting encounters with Nature than most. He can wrangle up a snake from just about anywhere. As a matter of fact, recently he was eating lunch when a snake (with a frog half way in its mouth) dropped out of a tree and landed next to him. He is able to identify an extraordinary number of plants, birds, and insects. He loves anything from the order Lepidoptera, especially hawk moths. Two of his favorite ecosystems are deciduous forests and coral reefs. He loves all trees except Bradford Pears. He has been a tree climber with a specialty in pruning for 6 years and a certified scuba diver for 15. When he is not soaking up nature, he attends live shows (and he always uses ear protection, he'll have you know) and jams out with his friends.
Forrest (the PERFECT name for a person working in the tree care industry!) grew up in many different places around the world and is able to speak Italian, Spanish, and Dutch. But over the years, North Carolina has become his home. When he is not at work in the trees, he spends a lot of time watching and training in Brazilian Jiu Jitsu and MMA. His favorite intellectual subjects are (without a doubt) history and geography. He can name all 50 state capitals on demand. Leo is a highly skilled tree professional who has a passion for all things wood. Born and raised in southern California, he did not have much exposure to the mighty pines and oaks we enjoy here on the east coast. After his career in the US Army brought him to North Carolina, he fell in love with our plentiful deciduous woodlands, and more importantly, his beautiful wife. So he decided to stay for good.
